Some important steps to make Chicken Tikka Masala
In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, paprika, salt, garlic, and ginger. Add chicken cubes and marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until fully cooked.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
Add the tomato puree, remaining garam masala, and paprika to the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the heavy cream and cooked chicken. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes until the sauce is thick and creamy.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with cooked rice or naan.
